Golfers Roll Rummel in Season Opener at TPC
Blue Jay golfers opened the 2013 fall golf season with an impressive 152-193 win over Archbishop Rummel on Tuesday, September 17, at the TPC Louisiana course in Avondale. Seniors Will Myers and Alex Anderson led the way with 37s. Sophomore Carlo Carino shot a 38. Senior Will Dufour carded a 40. Senior C.J. Blagrove and sophomore Grant Glorioso’s scores were discarded. Both shot 41s. Seniors Cole Johnson and Joe McAloon, junior Francis Plough, sophomore William Boyd, and freshman Nolan Lambert played practice rounds behind the starters. Other members of the team are sophomores Jonathan Cedro and Henry Mitchell. The Jays face Archbishop Shaw on Thursday, September 19 at Stonebridge Golf Club of New Orleans.
