Rush Days Prove That Opportunities at Jesuit Are Endless
This week during lunch, students gained closer insight into the 80-plus co-curricular clubs, organizations, and teams during Jesuit’s annual Rush Days held Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 5-6, in the Student Commons. Throughout the year, but especially at Rush Days, Blue Jays old and new receive the chance to get involved, meet new people, and expand horizons.

From classic rock and biotechnology to the student council and the arts, groups set up displays hoping to educate and entice new members. Student leaders and club moderators stood at their respective display tables to sign up interested members and answer any questions.
As part of their development into Men for Others, Blue Jays are encouraged to participate in activities that help them explore their passions, discover new interests, and increase their leadership skills. Co-curriculars also help students foster meaningful friendships, time management skills, and engage in competition that stimulates personal achievement.

Rush Days were held on Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the entie lunch period. Both days featured vast opportunites for students to get involved, anywhere from big organizations like the Lacrosse team and Peer Support to fun clubs like the Paintball and Ping-Pong clubs.
