Hair-raising radio…

During the second half of lunch today, students in Kate Arthurs-Goldberg’s public speaking class gave a ghoulish Halloween-themed radio theatre performance of Edgar Allen Poe’s short story, “The Cask of Amontillado” and Rudyard Kipling’s “Mark of the Beast.” While a handful of students read the story, others used props to create spine-tingling live Foley sound effects, like glass breaking and doors slamming. Left to right are seniors Seth Silva, Wyatt Candies, Patrick Calhoun, and junior Payton Hedrick.
