Tryouts for next year’s Cheerleading Team are on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Jesuit High School’s gymnasium on Banks Street.

Tryouts are open to anyone who will be attending an all-girls Catholic school in the 2018-19 school year and will be entering grades 9-12. Tryouts are designed for all cheerleader hopefuls as well as returning cheerleaders. The co-ed squad performs at basketball and football games, parades, school functions, and state cheering competitions.

Registration begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. For tryouts, you will learn a cheer, a chant, and a small dance routine. Teaching takes place in the morning with judging in the afternoon.

Attire

Please wear a full-length white shirt and modest athletic shorts with tennis shoes.

Have ALL of your hair pulled back and out of your face. Hair must be in a high ponytail.

• No jewelry (Medical ID Tags are permitted)

What to Bring

Pack your lunch and bring plenty of water.

• A copy of your most current report card

Registration – 8:30 a.m.
Class – 9 a.m. – noon
Lunch – noon – 1 p.m. (Bring your own lunch.)
Judging – 1-2:30 p.m.
