Jesuit alumni who live outside the metro New Orleans region are encouraged to submit information about their deceased loved ones.

Fr. Norman B. O’Neal, S.J.

Former Jesuit High School alumni chaplain Fr. Norman O’Neal, S.J., passed away this weekend in Grand Coteau, LA. He recently celebrated his 95 birthday in May. His funeral services will take place at St. Charles Borromeo in Grand Coteau at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 24 with Fr. Anthony McGinn, S.J., presiding. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m.

A memorial Mass at Jesuit High School New Orleans will also take place in the Chapel of the North American Martyrs at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29.

Fr. O’Neal served on Carrollton & Banks for 55 years as chemistry teacher, department chairman, and alumni chaplain.
