The Blue Jays fell to the Brother Martin Crusaders at the Crusaders’ Gym on Friday, Nov. 30, in the semifinal round of the 2012 Allstate Sugar Bowl CYO Tournament.The Blue Jays played tough early in the game, keeping the score close and trailing 42-36 at the half. Junior Chase Eckholdt came off the bench in the second half and led the defensive effort by creating much-needed turnovers. In the fourth quarter, however, turnovers and missed free-throw shots led to the Jays’ 61-50 defeat.
