Jesuit’s varsity baseball team left St. Bernard parish on Tuesday night with a 4-2 win over the pesky Chalmette Owls at Noel Suarez Stadium on the campus of Chalmette High School.

Senior pitcher Cody Migliore (14) earned another win, while sophomore pitcher Jack Burke (11) chalked up a save. Offensively, sophomore Trent Forshag (11) slammed a solo home run, while senior Mitch Alexander and Benson Tucker both slapped doubles. Benson’s double scored two runs which proved to be critical in the Jays’ district road win over the Owls.

Jesuit welcomes the Chalmette Owls to John Ryan Stadium on Friday, April 19 for the second district game of the two game series. The first pitch is slated for 5 p.m.
