Class of 2013 Will Receive Their Diplomas Thursday at Commencement Exercises

Curtain Goes Up on Jay Grads at 8 PM Sharp at Pontchartrain Center in Kenner.

Two hundred fifty-five Jesuit High School seniors will be awarded diplomas by Fr. Raymond Fitzgerald, S.J., president of the school, at Commencement Exercises on Thursday evening, May 23 at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner.

The curtain will rise at 8 p.m. sharp on the Class of 2013. Graduates are expected to arrive at the Pontchartrain Center no later than 7:30 p.m.

Graduates and their families and friends should use the large parking lot on the west side of the facility.

Last Sunday, May 19, Jesuit High School’s annual Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2013 was held in the Chapel of the North American Martyrs, marking the beginning of the end of their formal Blue Jay education. Following the Baccalaureate Mass, a reception was held in the Student Commons for the almost-graduates and their parents.
