Velociraptor Relays Kick Off Homecoming Week 2013
The Student Council and newly-formed Spirit Krewe are transporting students back to the Jurassic Period. The student component of Homecoming Week 2013 launched on Monday, Oct. 21 with the Velociraptor Relays.
Only the bravest of the brave signed up to carry a dinosaur egg on a tricycle, hula hoop while being bombarded with water bombs, and get dizzy with a bat, before scoring the winning goal.
The presence of Velveeta the Velociprator added a final layer to the zaniness.
Homecoming Week commenced with the Alumni Homecoming Mass & Brunch on Sunday, Oct. 20 in the Chapel of the North American Martyrs and Student Commons. The festivities conclude on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. with a Catholic League tilt against defending state champion Rummel at Tad Gormley Stadium.
