2014 Lacrosse District Title Up for Grabs Against St. Paul’s on Saturday
The Jesuit lacrosse team travels to Covington on Saturday, April 5 to face district-rival St. Paul’s. If the Blue Jays win, they win the district crown.
“Going against St. Paul’s is never easy,” said head coach Mike Brantley. “For some reason we bring out the best in each other. I’m expecting a great effort from their guys and ours,” he added.
Opening face-off scheduled for 3 p.m. at Hunter Stadium. Junior Eric Wright is expected to start in goal for the Blue Jays. Jesuit is undefeated in district play.
Jesuit is the two-time defending state champion.
