A flock of Blue Jays, including Fr. Anthony McGinn, S.J. ’66, Fr. Raymond Fitzgerald, S.J. ’76, and 2014 LEF chairman Lyon “Snapper” Garrison ’81, picked up their phones one last time to invite support for Jesuit’s Living Endowment Fund drive (LEF) — the alumni component of annual giving that helps to keep the school affordable and accessible to as many families as possible.

Thirty alumni spanning seven decades returned to Carrollton & Banks for one final night of Living Endowment Fund calling. During the evening of Tuesday, June 17, the group collected donations totaling about $25,000.

Heading into the home stretch, the 2013-2014 LEF tally stands just shy of $1.3 million, which would be a record number for the alumni component of annual giving.

As a reminder, your donations to LEF help to keep Jesuit accessible and affordable to as many families as possible and ensure that our desks remain filled with students from all walks of life.

The 2014 LEF is being chaired by Lyon Snapper Garrison ’81, who is being assisted by 2013 chairman Glenn Gillen ’85 and 2015 chairman-to-be, Mike Varisco ’83.

Donations are still being accepted. The drive concludes on June 30, 2014 − the end of Jesuit’s fiscal year.
