Hundreds of volunteers fill tables set in Traditions Courtyard at the annual Volunteer Thank You Party on Friday, April 25.
As blue skies faded into dusk on Friday, April 25, hundreds of Jesuit volunteers filled the Traditions Courtyard for the annual Volunteer Thank You Party. Guests were treated to more than 2,000 pounds of spicy, delicious crawfish, more than 30 pounds of chicken and sausage jambalaya, and ice cold beverages.
The springtime event is Jesuit’s way of thanking the numerous volunteers for all of their hard work, time, and dedication. Jesuit president Fr. Raymond Fitzgerald, S.J. ’76 told volunteers that their commitment to helping the school throughout the year is greatly appreciated.

Meanwhile, up on the roof, Events Coordinator & Auditorium Manager D.J. Galiano '07 takes flight with a drone camera. The camera, piloted by remote control, flew over the crowd while D.J. took several photos.

The camera caught the attention of many of the party's guests who looked up with wonder, confusion, or amazement.

Several hundred volunteers filled the Traditions Courtyard, making this year's event one of the largest in recent memory.
