Junior Chris Ainsworth lead the way with a 720 series against Holy Rosary.

Blue Jays bowled their best games of the season to defeat Holy Rosary 24-3. Jesuit remains undefeated with 9-0 overall and 5-0 in district play.

After posting their lowest pin count of the season earlier in the week, the Jays turned their luck around to notch their highest scores of the season. “I could not be more pleased with how well the kids bounced back,” said coach John Prejean.

Junior Chris Ainsworth lead the way with a 720 series consisting of 274, 231, and 215 games. Senior Andrew Prejean was a close second with a 694 series. His games were 234, 215, and 245. Junior Brett Lorio had a 208, sophomore Peyton Hidalgo a 212, junior Ben Ainsworth a 221, and senior Chris Totaro a 224.

The next bowling match is against Shaw on Monday, March 10. The last time the two teams competed, it took a team effort for the Blue Jays to beat Shaw, 24-3.
