Coca-Cola Invitational
The Blue Jay bowling team participated at the Coca-Cola Invitational tournament in Baton Rouge on Saturday, Feb. 1. There were five baker-style games for practice followed by five baker-style games for the tournament. For the five games of practice, Jesuit bowlers averaged an impressive 208 per game. That kind of score for the second five would have ranked the team in the top three and possibly first overall. Unfortunately, the Jays averaged only 169 for the games that counted. The team chalked this one up to experience.
