The Student Council has organized a Mario Bros. video game theme for Homecoming Week 2014 with daily lunchtime activities.
Students launched the week of festivities on Monday, Sept. 29 with the Mario Kart Obstacle Course, complete with game characters Mario and Luigi overseeing the race. Junior Joe Dupre, Student Council president, instructed the contestants to eat a banana, use the peels as weapons (just like it’s done in the video game), and to race around the trees in the courtyard twice. The winners were awarded with a high score and bragging rights (just like it’s done in the video game).
