Jays Invade Chilly Gentilly for a Saturday Showdown Match Against the Crusaders
The sixth-ranked Blue Jay varsity soccer team knows what is at stake in their match against the third-ranked Crusaders on Saturday, Jan. 25. The two teams meet again at noon and this time, on the Crusaders’ home turf, Farley Field in Gentilly.
At stake is a district championship, state playoff ramifications, and plain old pride. The two rivals always seem to play their best when they play each other. In their first match a couple of weeks ago, Brother Martin dealt Jesuit a tough loss, 2-1. But the boys in blue and white are determined to even it up.
Come out and support the Blue Jays when they take on the Crusaders at noon on Saturday, Jan. 25. Students are admitted free with their school ID. Admission for adults is $5 at the gate, $3 for children.
