Jesuit’s Evan DeHoog beats the Holy Cross goalie and scores the Jays’ second goal in a match Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 22 at John Ryan Stadium.

Jesuit defeated Holy Cross in varsity soccer, 3-0, in a Wednesday afternoon match at John Ryan Stadium. Last month, the Jays beat the Tigers, 2-0. In the most recent shutout match, goals were scored by seniors Gabriel Navar, Evan DeHoog, and Cameron Coulon.

The Jesuit – Holy Cross match featured Senior Appreciation Night. Prior to the match seniors and their parents were introduced on the field.

The Jays face a difficult match on Saturday, Jan. 25 against the Crusaders at the Brother Martin field. Kickoff for this match is noon. In their first meeting, the Crusaders won, 2-1.
