Jesuit Quiz Bowl took second and third place and junior Anthony Stoner won MVP in the Mt. Carmel Academy NAQT Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Jesuit sent three teams to compete. Team A, composed of seniors Sam Zelden (captain), Alex Daigle, and Patrick Fine and joined by junior Anthony Stoner, went undefeated into the finals against arch rival Lusher’s Team A. Jesuit won the runner-up spot and Stoner won MVP with the highest number of points scored in the tournament.

Team B, composed of senior captain Brett Lorio and juniors Andrew Cerise, D.J. Ogbomah, and Stephen Owers, went 6 -2 to win third place.

The all-sophomore Team C, composed of captain Will Fine, Mitchell Barras, Andrew Souther, and Preston Warwich, went 4-5 and won the Consolation 2 bracket.
