Varsity Tennis Holds Brother Martin at Love

Varsity Tennis swept its eighth consecutive match, defeating Brother Martin 7-0 in district play on April 3 at the UNO Tennis Center.

Winning singles matches were Jordan Lacose (8-2), Alex Depascual (8-6), Kevin Mickan (8-3) and Jacob Niehaus (8-2). Posting wins for doubles were Brandon Beck/Gregory Suhor (8-1), Jonathan and Jacob Niehaus (8-1), and Andrew Tufts/Kevin Mickan (8-2).

The Blue Jays (8-0, 5-0) have won all 8 matches played in New Orleans this season. They will play Holy Cross on April 8 in their last regular season match before advancing to regionals on April 22.
