Blue Jay Musicians Selected to Perform with Honor Bands

Twelve Blue Jays recently auditioned for and were selected to perform with the prestigious Louisiana Music Educators Association (LMEA) District VI Honor Bands.

Selected to perform with the Junior High Honor Concert Band were:

Pre-freshman Scott Hawkins – Trumpet
Freshman Jordan Merritt – Trumpet
Pre-Freshman William Mentz – Clarinet
Freshman Kyle Selle – Baritone
Pre-freshman Chris Vuong – Trumpet
Pre-freshman Aidan Walker – Tuba (not pictured)

Selected to perform with the Senior High Honor Concert Band were:

Freshman Leo John Arnett – Percussion
Sophomore William Fine – Percussion
Senior Patrick Fine – Trumpet
Junior Jae Kweon – Alto Saxophone
Freshman Michael Plessala – Clarinet
Junior Kyle Richoux – Tenor Saxophone
Junior Andrew Vuong – Clarinet
