The Class of 1984 gathered on Nov. 21, 2015 to remember their deceased classmates and enjoy each other’s company. Fr. Bill Huete ’70, brother of Patrick Huete ’84, celebrated the evening Mass for the 1984 alums and their families. Special guests of the class were the families of the six deceased class members.

During the Mass class captain Byron Berry reminded the assembled Jays of the purpose of their gathering, to remember and give thanks for the lives of their deceased classmates. Following Mass everyone moved to St. Ignatius Hall for an informal social during which tales of days at Carrollton and Banks were aplenty.

The event, the product of the good work of the class leadership team of Berry, Huete, Tommy Barbier, Ward Rice, Ken Boe, Mike Buisson, Nick Hazard, Cris Jackson, and Evans Schmidt, was quite a success with 20 class members attending, including one from Denver and another from Atlanta. Now plans are being made for a day of service in January at the Harry Tompson Center.
