Jays Win 4th Consecutive Game with 50-42 Victory Over Shaw
The Blue Jays flew past the Eagles 50-42 in the Birdcage on Tuesday, Feb. 3, giving Jesuit its fourth consecutive district win.
The Jays started out sluggish, ending the first half tied up at 19. But the Blue Jays took control during the second half. Senior Trey LaForge scored eight of his game high 22 points in the third quarter, helping Jesuit take a three point lead. In the final period, senior Foster Moreau posted nine of his 17 total (and notched 15 RBs) to help the Jays secure the win. Junior Rob Weiss and sophomore Brendan Conroy each contributed four for the Jays.
Jesuit now stands 4-1 in district play as they prepare for a game at Brother Martin on Friday, Feb. 6. Tip off is at 7 p.m.
