Junior Peyton Hidalgo finished with a 617 series against the Tigers on March 9.

The Blue Jays defeated the Tigers 22-5 with junior Peyton Hidalgo assuming the anchor position at the AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner on March 9.

When the team’s high-average bowler, senior Ben Ainsworth, called in sick, Hidalgo played as the anchorman. He bowled a 249 in the opening game and finished with a 617 series. Senior Chris Ainsworth rebounded nicely in the third game and bowled a 221 to solidify the match. Senior Jared Ohle improved throughout the match and had a 201 in the third game to help the Jays win.

This game puts Blue Jay bowling ahead 9-2 this season. Jesuit will play a rematch against Shaw on Thursday, March 12. In their first meeting, three Blue Jays score 600+ series.
